While many do not know about the scale of the tragedies that occur in our desert by the greed of the poachers and the absence of awareness from society about preserving the animal environment, we cooperated with the Wild Protection Authority to deliver a message.

Their lives were in his hand, now he lives for their lives

A new film -HIMMA- created to bring up the issue of poaching in our Arab desert by using an exciting real story that occurred 30 years ago in the Rub Al Khali desert. the story of Salama Bin Khashghan.

Salama’s Story

Salama bin Muneef, who is almost 70 years old, tells us his story when he was young fierce hunter for the Arabian Oryx in the desert of the Empty Quarter, until the Oryx became extinct from the Arabian Peninsula in the early seventies!

When the Arabian Oryx returned to Saudi Arabia in the 1990s in Uruq Bani Ma’arid Reserve, he strove to protect it from any danger until he became the head of the nature security in the Reserve.
